Eelis Reflects on His Year at T&S
What is it like to combine university studies with a role in a growing company? For Eelis Nilsson, the past year at T&S has involved everything from business development and outreach to close collaboration with teams and company leadership.

Over the past year, Eelis Nilsson has worked part-time at T&S in business development and outreach while pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management at Linköping University. It has been a year characterized by variety, initiative, and hands-on experience alongside his studies.
Taking on New Challenges Every Day
Joining a smaller organization meant stepping into a broad role with diverse responsibilities, which is something that quickly became one of the most rewarding aspects of the job.
“I enjoy working in cross-functional roles and tackling unexpected challenges that arise along the way,” says Eelis.
Seeing the Bigger Picture Through Close Collaboration
Although the work was initially centered around a student team, it also involved extensive cross-functional interaction and close collaboration with the company’s leadership. This gave Eelis valuable insight into how different parts of the business connect and contribute to overall success.
“It has been incredibly educational and enjoyable to work with a small team where we solve problems together. Because everyone works so closely, decisions can be made quickly, and new ideas are easy to discuss and develop.”
For Eelis, his year at T&S has primarily been about turning theory into practice, taking ownership, and gaining firsthand experience of how a successful company with sustainable leadership operates on a daily basis.
